Why Is She Alone? Entry #6
So I am currently listening to Lizzo- Truth Hurts and I know that it is probably an overplayed song but it is literally my pledge of allegiance for the week. I have a song of the week and this was definitely it only because my boo has been playing with me all week, and when I say boo I mean my crush not my boyfriend. Anyways back to the point I have had feelings for this weirdo for about a year and a half and we have shared our feelings for each other but we haven't done anything about it. Literally gets me so irritated but the song helped me realize that I don't need a man to make me happy and that I am more than capable of satisfying myself, cause like "why men great till they gotta be great?" When Lizzo says that I probably scream that part to the point I lose my voice but I honestly don't care. This song makes me so happy because it makes me feel like its okay to be independent.
Ladies do NOT settle for less. You deserve so much that this world has to offer and let me tell you this right now that no man really deserves you because you are a queen!!!! You need a man that will fight so hard to make you happy 24/7 PERIOD. Show yourself some love and know you're worth way more than what you think. Let me know some anthems you guys have and we can have a little party celebrating our independence from men that don't deserve us!!!

Love it Alyssa! I actually have that link on my blog. It is my anthem! We all have that one person who we can dedicate this song to! When she said "I just took a DNA test, turns out I'm 100% that b*" I love it. Like her metaphors in the song are on point. Have you heard any other songs by Lizzo?

Alyssa--You have some good ideas and topics presented in your new entries, and your writing flows well. Your tone is comfortable, confident and fun. However, you don't dig into the content of your ideas as much as you should. You are too brief. Analyze to build more context and significance for your audience. Keep digging! Don't forget about visual appeal as well.
